☆ ANNOUNCEMENT ☆
We are currently looking for more Young Adult Ending the Silence speakers (ages 18-30) who are ready to share their mental health story as a peer and/or
as a loved one of someone with a mental health condition. Or you can become an informative presenter to educate schools on mental health conditions.
All Ending the Silence presenters will receive training and support from our NAMI OC staff.
NAMI on Campus College (NCC)
NAMI On Campus College (NCC) Clubs are student-led clubs that tackle mental health issues on campus by engaging the students through support, advocacy, promoting of services, and educating the campus community. The clubs aim to address the mental health concerns of students on campus to promote a positive and supportive college experience.
Ending the Silence
Ending the Silence is an engaging presentation that helps audience members learn about the warning signs of mental health conditions and what steps to take if you or a loved one are showing symptoms of a mental illness. Three presentations are offered: one for middle school through high school aged students, one for school staff and one for parents.
NAMI on Campus High School (NCHS)
NAMI On Campus High School (NCHS) Clubs are student-led clubs that raise mental health awareness and reduce stigma on campus through peer-led activities and education. All students are welcome to join - those with their own mental health experiences, those with family members with a condition, or students interested in mental health advocacy.
