Programs for Peers

NAMI Orange County’s programs and events are now held virtually and in person.

Peer-to-Peer

Peer-to-Peer (P2P) is a no-cost, 8-week educational program for adults (18+) with a mental health condition who are looking to better understand their condition and journey toward recovery. P2P is taught by a trained team of people who have experience living with a mental health condition. The program includes presentations, discussion, and interactive exercises.

Connection Recovery Support Group

Connection Recovery Support Group is a no-cost support group for adults living with a mental health condition. These groups are led by NAMI-trained facilitators with lived experience. Connection Recovery Support Groups are unique because they follow a structured model to ensure that all group participants have an opportunity to be heard. The groups meet on a bi-weekly, weekly or monthly basis.

Mentoring Services For Peers

You don’t have to figure things out on your own. NAMI OC’s mentoring services connect you with a trained mentor who understands what you’re going through and is there to support you one-on-one.

We’ll help match you with the program and mentor that best fits your situation, so you can gain support, learn new tools, and feel more confident navigating your mental health journey and community resources.

Please Note: Support Groups are intended for family members and peers ONLY.
All support groups involve active participation and are NOT open for observation.
